So Many Dog Trainers, So Little Time!
Before you start, interview your potential dog trainer to see if you fit together. Look for:
- Professional dog training credentials.
- More than one technique in their toolbox.
- Lot’s of happy customers and real testimonials.
- The confidence to offer a complimentary evaluation.
It is just as important that the trainer evaluate you and your pet before promising anything or quoting you prices.
Programs
Our programs provide you results in as little as three weeks:
- Puppy Head Start – Everything you need to avoid early missteps
- Privates – One-on-one dog and human training through private lessons
- Drop-Off – Day training (our version of board-n-train) out in public settings
- Group classes – For beginners, and advanced refreshers for our Alumni
Help with the following problem behaviors:
- Barking, chewing or digging
- Stop jumping up
- Stop pulling on leash
- Help with aggression and fear
- Help with separation anxiety
The following programs are designed to either fit seamlessly together, or can be customized to each dog’s situation, and family’s particular needs.
Puppy Head Start (Privately)
AGE: 10 weeks to 6 months:
Private lessons with your trainer to alleviate concerns prior to completion of vaccinations.
Teach your puppy house rules, and prevent bad habits from forming! How to safely socialize your unvaccinated puppy. Includes potty and crate training instruction, intro to sit, lay-down, come, drop, watch me, and leash walking. We’ll address jumping up, biting, chewing, stealing, and how to greet others.

Pre-School Drop Off (Daily)
AGE: 10 weeks to 6 months. Jump start potty training, socialization, and introductory training with a day or two of pre school drop-off 8am-3pm!
If you plan on taking your dog places, SAFE socialization to sights, sounds and people starts NOW!

Six -Week Program (Privates)
AGE: Over 6 months (privates for puppies above).
Positively based series of 6 one-hour sessions at our location. designed for do-it-yourself-ers who want a more hands-on approach. If you have the time to work with your dog at least two times per day while in training, this course may be for you. Receive solid obedience and problem-solving while building your own handling skills!
(4 and 6-Week Group Classes)
We train you to train your dog!
BEGINNER GROUP ($600)
Time: Saturdays at 9:00 AM
Curriculum: (6) One-Hour Lessons. Covers heel (no pulling), sit, down, stay, come, first time responsiveness, and attention around distractions.
Includes: Written and video homework.
Prerequisite: Dog must be 6 months or older and non aggressive. If overly fearful or reactive, trainer reserves the right to move you to private lessons.
ADVANCED / ALUMNI GROUP ($375)
Time: Saturdays at 10:30 AM
Curriculum: (4) One-Hour Lessons. Refresh your skills and turbo-charge responsiveness under heavy distraction (other dogs).
Includes: Pack walks and a Stonehaus visit!
Prerequisite: PRIOR STUDENTS ONLY.
Disclaimer: Reactive or aggressive dogs are not allowed in beginners group (see privates instead). We reserve the right to dismiss teams deemed too disruptive to the rest of the class. Dog training is a physical endeavor! Be prepared to bend, twist and bounce!

Off Leash Training
AGE: Over 12 months.
Some dogs will never be safe off-leash! Others will pass with flying colors.
This course requires completion of one of our signature obedience courses (Privates or 3-Week Program) and prior approval.
